We stayed in a hoseasons lodge at Keilder water, with an outdoor hot tub. From the moment we arrived, we were great like special guests and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were offered a glass of prosecco on arrival. The staff were polite and friendly. The hot tub lodge was lovely, clean and very comfortable. We had every amenity including a dishwasher and washer dryer. They provided all clean towels and bath robes and slippers. Complimentary toiletries and a pack of new dish cloths scourers and dishwasher tablets. Which I was not expecting. I wouldn't be wanting to use somebody else's dirty dish cloths. The next morning we received a call to ensure that we hadn't any problems, so that was very nice. It snowed all weekend, which made the weekend even more special , as we sat in the outdoor hot tub, with a glass of wine. Excellent. Lovely views from the lodge and lovely pleasant walks around the water.

Room Tip: I think all the lodges have good views. But the hot tub made it special

We have just arrived home from here after an extended stay of one extra night due to the weather conditions which stopped us from leaving the previous day. The staff of this site are a credit to the company, as was displayed when the adverse weather conditions left a skeleton tean of staff to deal with everything. The lodge was veey clean and well maintained, a problem with the travel cot was fixed within ten minutes of contacting reception. The manager dealt very well with the problem of the snow and the rest of the staff were also polite and brilliant with my young son, they even baked fresh bread for guests when supplies ran out and only asked for a small donation to charity. Overall, we will stay here again but hope for slightly better weather so we get to see more of kielder and its surroundings!

Arrived for half term break (our 5th year running). Extremely disappointed to arrive at our 'luxury' lodge only to find it extremely dirty. Floors very dirty, bathrooms (won't go into detail) kitchen had lots of splashes etc. Not the most relaxing start! Rang down to customer services who apologised and said they'd send someone straight up. Two ladies arrived promptly and they agreed the standard was very poor and shouldn't have been left like that. They mentioned the cleaning now with a private contractor!! So, 2 hours in our holiday starts. The children had a great time with all the activities (thanks instructors for your enthusiasm and patience), we always enjoy the hot tub and had some great meals out at the restaurant. All in all, still pleased with the holiday, but nervous now the site is expanding, that standards are starting to slip - be a shame to let that happen.

Stayed in the Ash Premier Spa week of 11th December. The weather was not great, but that did not put a damper on the break. There is so much to see and do in and around the resort. The fabulous walks are perfect for getting out and stretching the legs, getting some fresh air, and when the weather is not for outdoors, the lodge has everything you need to make you comfortable and keep you entertained. The hot tub was definitely my favourite part of the stay, and I probably spent more time in there than I should of relaxing ;-) This was our third stay at Kielder in the past 6 months, staying in different lodge types, but every stay was so relaxing and enjoyable that we cannot wait to book up our next stay.

Just completed a four day stay at Kielder water and forest park...stayed in the wonderfully appointed new lodges which included a hot tub which my wife and myself made ample use of ...even in the snow.
The lodge would sleep 4 although there was only 2 of us even so it seemed like excellent value.
The lodges contain every facility for self catering missing nothing...theres even a dishwasher....the site is stunning ,a forest surrounding a man made lake (reservoir) with 26 miles of tracks around the perimeter, suitable for walking ,running or cycling....beautifully serene with very little light pollution at night also a small gym and a very pleasant swimming pool on site....the bird of prey centre is excellent.
