As other reports have said this B & B is on a busy road junction and I was a little nervous about booking it on behalf of my friends - but I needn't have worried. There is a bit of traffic noise but it really wasn't a problem for us.
On the plus side we really enjoyed our stay here. I took an instant liking to Julie Boden, the landlady, who greeted us on arrival with tea and biscuits.
My wife and I had a large room with a super king-size bed, large TV with DVD player (there are DVDs to borrow in the lounge), and a large bathroom with a bath and shower, all spotlessly clean.
There's a lovely residents' lounge with a wood-burning stove which was lit each afternoon and evening.
When we got back soaking wet after our walk we were met by Julie who in no time at all had our boots drying by the fire and our wet clothing was whisked away to the boiler room to dry.
Breakfast was excellent, served in the small dining room.
Do not be put off by the busy road, this is one of the best B & B's I have stayed in.
