Been here with family and friend on a 4 days 3 nights package but suddenly extend this trip for one more day to become 5 days 4 nights due to everyvody was very happy.

All staffs were excellent and very professional. Especially when you came with kids because staffs would come to take care and play with them with no asking. When I said play, it really meant play not just watch. So parents could stay calm and relax all the time staying here.

With the full package, they came with 5 meals per day. Food were great, fresh, and taste good. And you could ask for extra thing from the kitchen, if it was not too much then they would cook it for you. This was very good when you travel with kids.

Beach was nice and clean. We were lucky that did not have any rain during day time so we could enjoy every activities. Fishing, sight seeing around island, squid fishing, and crab catching. Kid could join every activities because staffs would be with us all the time.

Wish we could stay more but not possible. So maybe next year.

I'm very impressed with the good planning of all the meals and activities that the resort provides and, above all, the very professional and helpful team of staff. It is obvious they aim to impress, and not just to do their job!

The schedule of meals and activities is about right. The activities provided include visiting the KlongChao waterfall, a boat ride to see fireflies, a snorkeling trip around Koh Rang, and a very impressive torch show. The guides/staff work well as a team to make sure that we really enjoy the activities and stay safe at the same time. All the equipment and boats look new and very well maintained. It is the first time ever that I was trained how to use the life vest and snorkeling mask correctly. I've been to several snorkeling trips before and never once was explained to in such very helpful details!! It really did enhance the whole experience in the sea! In addition, the guide let us hold on to another person's vest to form a V-shaped group and dragged us all the way to see the amazing creatures under the crystal clear water. This is definitely the best snorkeling trip I've ever had.

The resort is located on a lovely beach with very clean white sand. The water is very shallow and, for someone not so good at swimming like me, this kind of beach is perfect.

The rooms are a bit run down but very spacious and provide good privacy. I heard the resort is about to be closed for 3 months for a major renovation. So, I think after that, everything will be perfect.

Food is good in terms of quantity and variety (Thai-style seafood).

The major setback for me is the travel time from and to Bangkok. Even so, I highly recommend this resort if you like a short nature/beach getaway. It's way way better than more popular islands, with far fewer tourists and better quality of beach and water!

This hotel has a lot going for it. Such as shame that the hotel relies on the setting for visitors rather than making the effort with the hotel. This hotel was the most expensive of the five hotels in stayed in by a long way and was the worst by a long way. The room was nice but the bathroom was disgusting. Apart from a few badly fitted tiles it didn't appear to have been touched since the hotel was opened many years ago. A real shock for a hotel of this price. The breakfast was just a disappointing. Apart from eggs, bread and one type of fruit the entire buffet was thai food. I like thai food but not for breakfast!. The grounds are maintained and the stunning beach is clean. Also the Thai barman at the lovely beach bar was a real good laugh. A little money and a better attitude towards the paying customer would go a long way to improve this hotel.

This is not a RESORT, it is a cheap, dirty and very old family hotel for Asian groups.
The rooms are stinky, the bathroom moldy, the beds hard, the mosquito nets full of holes and there are NO closets, nothing to leave your wardrobe, no chair, no table next to the bed ... nothing.
This resort is totally overpriced !! A rip off !
The food is disgusting. Breakfast contains pork soup etc. Nothing fresh, no fresh fruits except dried watermelon, no yoghurts, no müsli, no cereals. Stinky fish porridge instead ...
Plus there is loud noise from 06.30 till 23.00/24.00 ... if you want relaxation, you should go somewhere else as this "hotel" is mostly booked by asian all inklusive groups who want to watch TV, gamble and spend karaoke parties in the night.
For 180,-- Euros / night !!!! They think it is adequate to pay this amount for an empty old stinking room .... This i definitely the WORST resort we ever stayed in after more than 10 years vaccation in Thailand.
You can find a better quality for 30% of that price !
And the room is full of moquitos, the beach full of sandflies ... sunbeds hard to get as there are around 15 sunbeds for at least 60-80 guests.
Result: very, very disappointing and when you complain, they become very unfriendly!
Keep away from Peter Pan !!!!!!

Perfect location! You have the ocean on one side, and a small river on the other side. Both are gorgeous! The beach is so clean and beautiful. The water is crystal clear, you can see small fish even within a few meters down into the sea. The food is delicious. The breakfast buffet has plenty of selection, and everything is tasty! The staff is super friendly. What else can you ask for?

We stayed in a coral room, which was spacious with a private spa tub in the balcony. It was so relaxing (though the water is a bit cold). The bed was so comfortable we slept like a baby. It was just great! Will definitely come back here the next time we visit Koh Kood!

Recommendation: would be perfect if you have frisbee! And more sunbeds, like other reviews mentioned.
