Our family of 4 stayed in the Moonstruck room (parents) and the Shubie bunk room (kids). The rooms are nicely done, the breakfast is fantastic and the owners are really nice. This is a great place in a perfect location for exploring the Bay of Fundy (tidal bore rafting, Burntcoat Park, etc.).

We chose Tidal Life on the basis of reviews and its nearness to River Runners. We were not disappointed. Although the bathroom is across the hall and through the lounge area we were the only guests so didn't have to worry about meeting anyone on a midnight WC visit! The owners were friendly and gracious both at the B and B and at Bing's the restaurant they run nearby. As for the food--fabulous in both places!

The only improvement I would suggest is a new mattress for the Blue Room. It's beginning to dip in the middle.

The Tidal Life Guesthouse is a gracious old Victorian bed and breakfast on a quiet street. The owners live in a separate building. The house and our room were beautifully decorated with antiques, interesting art, lots of books, and all the amenities. The upstairs common room offered books, board games, and movie DVDs for guests. The adjacent lounge contained a coffee maker and refrigerator also for guests' use, stocked with all the makings for coffee or tea.

Our bathroom was not shared with other guests (I.e., it was "private") but it wasn't attached to our rooms. Rather, it was across the hall and through the common room and through the lounge.

The owners were away during our visit, and one of their employees served a delicious breakfast at 8 am sharp. Vegetarians: Be sure to ask before you arrive for a vegetarian breakfast.

The kitchen and laundry were not available to guests. Wifi worked great. Comfy bed. Overall, a quiet, clean, safe and comfortable place to stay while in the Maitland area.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts provide a very comfortable visit. Great bed, quiet location. Excellent breakfast, and opportunity to eat at Bing's Eatery (their local restaurant). The emphasis on local foods is important to us and the community.

Room Tip: We were downstairs and it was perfect. The upstairs seems to be okay with guests also.

Beautiful old house with stunning artwork, nice rooms, cute little coffee nook. Lots of common areas to chat, watch tv (DVD player with lots of movies) Perfect for any get away! The two men who own it are sweet, thoughtful, knowledgable about the area and history and just amazing guys. We will be back!!
