We enjoyed our 7 day stay in this hotel although the rooms are fairly shabby. It is located at the beginning of the main beach area so the crowd noise is significantly less here than other accommodations. We thought the staff were very nice, including the small restaurant just outside the entrance, although that is a separate business.
Rooms are very basic: oscillating fan in the corner; queen bed that was comfortable but the linens didn't fit properly and came loose at night; cold water only; no shower head; sink plumbed without a trap pipe so there was always a hint of sewer smell; only furnature is a tiny nightstand, a small plastic table and two plastic chairs; no hooks, so your clothes have to stay on the floor.
Despite these downsides, the proximity to the water, pleasant little balcony, great top deck with a nice breeze and beautiful view of the whole Taganga area, smiling, friendly staff (little English though), common kitchen area with a good fridge, decent though weak Wifi and a very secure feeling made our stay here quite pleasant.
We paid $60 plus tax during the high season, so it doesn't qualify as a bargain.
