We stumbled upon this little hidden gem after having difficulty finding a nice place to stay near the Sinis Peninsula and Tharros. Hotel Sa Pedrera is as close as you get - about 10 minutes’ drive from all the local sights. Well appointed, pleasantly furnished and quiet rooms in a shady garden with fridge, aircon, safe and comfortable beds. Good continental breakfast -you can order eggs and bacon for a modest extra charge. Owner is very friendly and speaks English. A restaurant is next door. Ample parking.

Our group of sixteen hikers stayed here for two nights. Unfortunately our first night coincided with a large wedding celebration that went into the early hours of the morning but most of us were so tired we slept anyway. The rooms were quite big enough and the beds comfortable. The rooms all look out onto a large courtyard. The hotel is really in the middle of nowhere so we ate in the hotel and that was fine - the meals were good and there was plenty of choice. Breakfast was also enjoyable and again with plenty of choices. They hire our bikes if you want to go to the nearby beach

Nice hotel, quiet place, good and clean rooms. We enjoyed our stay very much. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our group of 8 does like walking in the countryside and there were plenty of opportunities to do so in the environment of the hotel. Breakfast was great. Food in the restaurant was very good, but wait times for our group were too long.

Lovely hotel in the country side. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast is a feast.
The atmosphere is very pleasant, people are friendly.
Service in the restaurant at dinner was a bit slow but yet sympathetic. The grilled fish plate is great, like the catch of the day. Hope they can keep up this quality level for the future.

My boyfriend and I went on a SUP experience with Helene and it was an amazing experience.
Neither of us had ever been on a stand up paddle board before but when we got on the water we were confident and talked through the steps and technique.
Helene spent a good amount of time with us on land to talk us through the safety of the water and what we should look for if we were to paddle board independently another time. She showed us how to hold the paddle, to turn, to board safely and what to do if you feel like you are losing your balance.
I felt confident when we went in the water and didn't fall off once! :) We had great fun viewing the old protected city and diving in the water from the paddle board. Helene took some amazing pictures of us and video on the waterproof GoPro.
I would thoroughly recommend the experience. Beware of the race at the end! ;)

Thank you Helene! Hope to see you again! x
