This is a quirky big old place converted into a 'pension' style hotel. The young Polish lady we met who runs this big undertaking was charming, friendly and helpful. The furnishings are dated but in the old fashioned Swedish 'holiday house style', which gives it a homely feel. Yet in our room the 3-glass windows were new, as were the actual bathroom fixtures. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean.
Free wifi but the performance is quite variable around the building, I wouldn't try to skype with it.
The room price is very reasonable given that a simple buffet breakfast was included. A lot of meats are included in the breakfast, not so interesting for us vegetarians but still fine - with granola, dried fruit, yoghurt, and different types of bread. Nice coffee and a friendly face at breakfast time! I added a pic of the nicely laid out breakfast buffet.
When we stayed the room rate was HALF the price of the First hotel Framm which we initially considered. If you are the kind of person who appreciates character and personality this is the place for you. Excellent value in our opinion.More
