I spent a night here a couple of years ago when visiting Kramfors for a recruitment meeting. I had some trouble finding it because I had to walk in the middle of the night in winter but succeded in finding it. This hotel looks more like a pension but got sauna, a parlour with billiard, television, dart, books and other things you could need on a rainy day. The rooms where comfortable and in the rooms you got telephone, tv, iron and a shower. A couple of years, when I visited it you had to pay 85$ a night and that included a big breakfast in the morning, free coffe, tea and soda. I would recommend this place in summer because the ski slope, about 6 kilometers from the hotel, is not of full lenght and I think the summer up here is just amazing.

Really Nice rooms styled differently and all rooms are different from each other. The house is charming with a touch of it's history. Relaxing atmosphere. We got/chose a room with wonderful View of the lake. Comfortable beds. Modern bathroom & toilet. In all better standard and half the price compared to Hotell Kramm (which is the other hotel in Kramfors. We stayed there 1 night but changed to Frano. Kramm wanted 1300SEK for a room - which standard was less fancy as the one we got a Frano). Staff is very friendly and nice. We had our dog with us and she was warmly welcomed :).

The hotell has 15 rooms, its is close to the municipality of Kramfors.

This is an economically less fortunate area of Sweden, and it is not easy to run a hotel. However, this hotel struggles rather. Our room had an old charm. The hotel claims 3-star, in my view 2-star is mor correct. They have a conference department, however all guests seemed to be tourists passing by. The main competition comes from local B&B.

Attractions in the vicinity are Gudmundrå church ruin (much more interesting than it sounds) and the Lunde monument where the army killed 5 people 1931.

Thgwere is a playground for the children, you can borrow bicycles and also do some fishing.
