We have stayed two nights at the hotel, over a friend's a wedding celebration. While we were at the ceremony, staff must have entered our room stealing brand new high fashion shoes from my Fiancee. The staff refused to aknowledge the theft! Obviously, staff must have entered our room with an access card.

Worst - the management, namely the General Manager, refused to act, even after long conversations and did not cooperate. This has never happened to me before.
Arrogant management, no appology, no compensation, no action!

Besides, the rooms are not pleasant, and the breakfast is the worst I have ever had. Scrambled egg from the box, 100% artificial, every cheap and tasteless. Nothing fresh!

This hotel is very similar to one of the many roadside hotels that we have in the US. The rooms were fair sized but not large, the shower and bathroom sink were forged from plastic, the towels were fairly new but not plush. It is the type of room that you expect for such a low price. The service at the front desk was rather slow and even though the website says that they have irons available at the reception desk, don't believe it. People were having to use an iron in a room next to the reception area. Would I stay here again - probably not. I think I would rather pay the extra money and commute from Paris. Overall, the hotel was okay but far from a resort.

A nice comfortable Hotel nestled quietly in a woodland area just north of Paris. We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2016. The room was clean and spacious and furnished to modern hotel standards: minibar (with free bottles of water) TV with international stations, airco and a small safe. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows should you need them. The floor numbering system in the Lift doesn't make any sense at all, so be prepared to get out at the wrong floor a few times. Breakfast was good, although I did find a dead insect on my Croissant one morning, can happen.

The Hotel itself sits in the grounds of the Chateaux which is just a minutes’ walk away. The Châteaux is home to the restaurant and swimming pool which are free to use for Hotel guests. The pool is indoor and big enough to swim lengths in. There is also a Sauna but you have to ask reception to switch it on beforehand; it takes about half an hour to warm up. There is also an outside area attached to the pool with sun-loungers, but you will need you room key to open the door, so don’t leave this in you changing-room locker.

We weren’t impressed with the restaurant however. Although the food was good and very tasty, the service was not too good. Our waiter appeared aloof and spoke English badly, and although he nodded ‘yes, yes’ to everything that was asked of him, he got a few orders wrong which was, we noticed, a problem for a few of the other diners also. Also some of the tables are positioned directly next to the air vents from the swimming pool, not so nice smelling chlorine whilst eating.

The location of this Hotel is ideal for a day trip to Paris. We walked down to the train station (about 20 minute walk) and was at Paris Gar de Noord about 40 minutes later. After our day trip we took the train back and again walked from the station. In hinds sight this was not such a good idea as at one point we had to walk down a very dark road (totally pitch black) and though an unlit wooded area. Not so bad for two guys walking but definitely not recommend for the faint hearted, elderly or ladies alone, take a taxi, it’s not far.

The Hotel also has bikes to rent (they are free to rent). Because they are free its not possible to book them, so first come first served. We however had no problem securing two mountain bikes for a days ride and choose to visit the home & burial place of Vincent van Gogh. The ride itself took us though the forest and though the French countryside. Don’t underestimate it, was quite hard going in some places and at times felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. Luckily the GPS on my phone worked perfectly and so was able to navigate our way through the forest without any problems.

A bit of a mixed bag. I had high hopes for a peaceful retreat with a gorgeous pool and beautiful grounds. The beautiful grounds I definitely got. Stunning.

The pros:
The beautiful setting.
Great selection at breakfast.
Good restaurant food.
Free minibar.
The helpful staff.
Quiet pool.

The cons:
The smell around the hotel especially when running water (drains?)
The pool needs renovation.
The tiny room when two beds are out (it just isn't big enough).
Very slow service at reception everytime (always a wait).
Nothing nearby. Nearest shop about 5km and we needed snacks!
Restaurant opened limited hours which would be ok if there was a shop.
Paid for a better room but not sure it was worth the price. It didn't seem better than a basic room.
