Travelled to Nidri 18-25 July 2018, and stayed for 1 week at Avra Beach Hotel. Arrived late in the evening and we were met with a smile by Zois and shown to our room. Lovely clean bedroom and bathroom. Balcony had view onto garden and we had sun in the late evening which was nice. Breakfast was ample and plenty of fresh bread and fruit. The view from the front of the hotel is simply stunning !! Would return and recommend.

Great location in the town center, superb local real grec food, nice staff, good quality price ( considering Mykonos is absurdly expensive), probably one of our family's best choice on the island. Very nice local wine selection at reasonable prices.

I stayed for one week. The rooms are refurbished and newly renovated. The bathrooms are new, but small. Balconies overlooking the garden, and some noise from cars and other visitors must be expected. Nice staff, but the service is variable and the cleaning too. The restaurant is close to the sea, and the view is lovely. Food is not excellent, but good. Breakfast with fresh fruits, but bread and juices are boring. The hotel has a central location to Nidri, but still it is quite quiet except for some guests and cars arriving noisily in the night.

From a long time I was interested to stay in Lefkada, but I said that if I still do it, make it big time as the Americans say, or on our language, stay right on the beach. Well, it was ... exactly 28 steps from the hotel's terrace to the beach ...

The hotel is practically on the beach, large and airy rooms. What was new, the fan in the ceiling made its exemplary work despite the A / C in the room and included in the price. The refrigerator, TV and feeder also contributed to our comfort. The view from the balcony to the private island of a Russian billionaire was also top. Scorpios is the island in question.

Breakfast just like everywhere, but at least fresh and enough. And the hosts ... fresh and smiley on their lips too ... Parking is also enough for all tenants ... A small minus, but this is the policy of the place and not quite normal was the price of the lounge chair. It was not big, but it was the hotel's own private beach...

But finally, it's a small minus compared to what your eyes enjoy every second of the state at the beach ...

Room Tip: Sea view rooms.

We booked this hotel direct and from the get go we had great communication from the hotel owner .
Arrived late and travel weary so when we entered the room I was a initially disappointed with the view from the room, as we were overlooking the car park . I asked for another room and they were happy to show me one in the morning . After a goodnights sleep and a look at a sea view room realising the alternative was much smaller we kept with room number one .In fact it was a great choice . The hotel was immaculate if a little basic but this is the norm for Greece . The family take great care and pride of their property . The location was perfect everything was in easy walking distance .The breakfast was more than adequate but does get a bit repetitive after a while . But then again so would full english every day. What is the highlight of the hotel is the view from the beach which is right infront of the hotel just breathtaking . All in all if you want a relaxing break , this is definitely the place to come .
Would I return , yes in a heart beat .
Many good restaurants and bars but would recommend Cafe di paris , great cocktails and friendly owner . The Barrel and Roots well worth a visit and MS Christina for amazing boat trips both day and night cruises, the sun and stars cruise I believe is unique and an absolute must .

Room Tip: room number one close to reception and sunny in the afternoon .
