The best gyros in nidri hands down but even better is the authentic Greek hospitality. Ouzo and dancing optional.

We had an excellent meal at a very reasonable price in this restaurant. The portions were huge and very, very well cooked, my husband had a pork chop which covered nearly all of his plate.... he was more than happy with it!!! Would recommend a visit
Once again my friend was known at this place and welcomed like a long lost friend. This makes the menu choice both hard and easy. George and his son who has better English tell you what you are having. After a while you order what they say and it turns out great.
Nothing too different here but the portions are generous and the food is well cooked. The quality of the meat was superb and the service excellent
We have revisited George's for 7 years as we returned on our boat. Like many Greek restaurants, the more you return, the better the service and the welcome, so make a point of going back. The food is good ad I have been cooking the chicken a la crème ever since when we get home and as a bbq starter. Try it - best in the area and we've tried it in many restaurants. We always get a warm welcoming hand shake, a free beer and generally a free dessert - apple with cinnamon and syrup - truly magnificent in it's simplicity (I pinched this recipe as well)
Good giros, pleasant atmospher, a good alternative to the numerous 'restaurants' serving very average expensive food. closes mid October.
