4 of us stayed here for 3 nights and were very impressed with the hotel and the spa. A warm welcome and a smiling face which was welcome after a 7 hour flight delay with WizzAir into Budapest. The standard of the rooms were very good, they were very clean, well maintained and the only thing that was missing was a kettle which seems to be the case in many European hotels. The Spa was excellent and you also had direct access to the local swimming pool/water park next door. Breakfast and evening meals were included and good value for money and the quality was very good. My only negative was as we were eating our evening meal the waitresses were setting the tables for breakfast and it made you feel hurried. Other than that it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

The Colosseum Hotel offers great possibilities to spend some really relaxing days in the Southern region of Hungary. The stuff is very lovely and kind, the wellness department is beautiful and clean. I enjoyed especially the saunas. On weekdays the hotel is very quiet but not too crowdy during the weekend. We had a superior room, it wasn't too big but the interior was so classy and stylish. To assume I loved this hotel and I can suggest to everyone who wants to spend some days with rest and relax in nice settings.

One of the best wellness hotel in the area. Great spa opportunities which means not only a sauna and a jacuzzi but pools and a Kneipp bad and free passage to the huge city thermal bad. Food is excellent and the staff is very friendly and professional.

Hotel is located in small town but very close to Segedin if you want to have a walk to see town or to shopping.
Rooms are great and very clean. Food is also nice and suitable for children. Staff is also very friendly.
We will come back.

We stayed for 4 Nights and the price we paid was very reasonable with breakfast and dinner included. I was not impressed with the food but my wife thought it was good. I appreciate that this is not much help to potential customers but that`s life.

The room was a very good size and very comfortable. Unfortunately there is a building site next door which caused quite a bit of noise. The work was quite advanced so it might not be long before the work is finished (I guess the end of 2014).

The outside spa area was very nice. We used the "mud pool" most. This was actually just natural mineral water that was quite dirty looking but lovely to bathe in. Even my well used skin had a smooth feeling to it when I came out. It is all free to hotel guests. My wife had a manicure and pedicure which she was very pleased with.

English is not widely used although you can almost always find someone that can speak just enough. Generally speaking, the staff in the hotel and in the shops tried to be helpful and friendly but language is a barrier.

The town is nice but there is nearly nothing to do there. Walking around and seeing how other people live is, for me, interesting but after one or two trips, it becomes more of the same.

Taking a taxi into Szeged by bus or taxi easy and there are many more shops (including an indoor shopping centre). Negotiate a fixed price for the taxi befoehand. We shared a taxi With People who had negotiated a price of 5,000 forint (about £13) one way but on the Return we did not agree a price beforehand and paid about £17. It is about a 20 minute drive.

In summary, not much to attract you to Morahalom but if you should visit the town, I would recommend the hotel because of the quality of the rooms, the cleanliness and the spa.

Room Tip: I believe rooms with numbers from 210 to 220 (or the equivalent on other floors) are a bit noisy because of the next door building site.
