I've just returned home from my 4 day trip. Overall I thought the hotel was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is gorgeous and well maintained. The pool was glorious and the beach was also very nice. The hotel restaurants were good but a little pricey but nothing outrageous.
I will say this..
Anasca is out of the way and even though the hotel sits on the Anasco/Rincon border unless you have a car you will be very limited in terms of things to do. The nearby restaurants are about a 15min scary walk along a narrow windy road but well worth it. Try Picotero and Kaplash both places were highly recommended.
I was traveling solo and enjoyed the pool and beach but I later went paddle boarding in Rincon - Rincon Paddle Boards is a def must. I spent a pretty penny on cab fare but coming from NYC it was normal for me. Anyone else might have a problem.
Places of interest:
Rincon - Sandy Beach/Steps Beach - $15 - $20 cab fare from hotel
Aguadilla - Crashboat Beach - $40 cab fare but well worth it. The water was amazing and there was plenty of outdoor food trucks. Not enough facilities though
Mayaguez Airport to the hotel - $20More
- Free Wifi
- Free Parking
