We have been visiting this place for yum cha for many years. It's busy and you need to get there early if you can.
There is a wide selection of dishes to choose from, the traditional and a few loss common items (not Asian, don't know what they all are called).
The quality of the food is good but with the restaurant over 3 floors it takes time for the trolleys to make its way to all the tables. Some dishes were cold.
Get there during the week or early on the weekend.

Experienced diners at Sunny's Seafood (we've dined there for over a decade), we know that you have to get there early.
We love the food, it's always been fresh, in our experience.
This is the genuine Yum Cha experience.
This is where Chinese people come to eat Yum Cha.
You do the math.
Know what you want, and say no to anything you're not sure about.
They will do dishes to request, our daughter would only eat Singapore Noodles when she was younger. If that might be a possibility, order it early on - they are busy. How busy they are is a testament to how popular they are among regulars.
We always arrive by 10.30am - by 11.00am you may be waiting for a table.
Our family loves meeting at Sunny's Seafood for Yum Cha

Arrived at 1:45pm so not expecting the freshest yum cha food (3pm is the closing time). 9 floor staff were on but only three were actually working. This is the only time where we've been to a yum cha where you have to walk up to the cart to get the food.
If you don't ask for something (in Chinese), you're not likely to get it.
Change of management means an emphasis on large groups. We saw three wait staff catering to a single table of 5 while every other table was ignored.
Very disappointed as this used to be a decent yum cha place in Hurstville.

For Yum Cha you will have good food quality if go on normal day, they offer 20% off of bill which is same as around yum cha in St George area; if yum cha on weekend then good luck...
Rice sausage in streaming trolley can be cold, food size smaller than average, service not good at all as short staff on weekend. it is depend on who is the kitchen head on duty...
overall if you dont expect anything it could give you surprise...
