The owner was a kind man who was helpful in getting is settled and even drove us to the other side of the island (10 minutes!). I really liked him and the location of the inn, and wish I could give a glowing report. But unfortunately the place was pretty grubby. The bathtub and shower was grungy, and the rooms were not well cleaned. But the dinner and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. So sometimes you just have to make choices. And the price, $75 for dinner, overnight and breakfast, is pretty hard to beat.

We booked this place for two nights. Our Japanese friend rang to make our booking as no English is spoken. We arrived on the morning ferry and there was no one there but we thought ok we will come back after visiting some of the art. When we arrived back there was still no one there and they did not answer their phone. If not for one of the guest houses having a room for us we would have had to leave the island as the accommodation was heavily booked.
