This onsen hotel has its own onsen wells right outside the premise. Nice seaview while enjoying open onsen and stars can be seen at night (if weather permits). Atagawa is at the SE of the Izu peninsula before Kawazu.

Room Tip: reserve seaview rooms only

I was driving in heavy congestion after the big snow in Feb. The dinner time was as early as 7pm but we were stuck in the middle. When I got there it was nearly 8:30pm, the staffs immediately let us relax with the warm feast. Dinner is fresh and nicely presented, soup is hot and fishes are the best.

After dining we were lead to the beautiful Japanese style room with a W-O-W outdoor hotspring! We enjoyed the hotspring with full moon and sea view. We slept and woke up ealry for the sun rise. Everything is prefect and I cannot find anything to complaint!

PS. Sakura is bloom early in Ito. Late Feb until mid March is the best timing. Drive south to 南伊豆町下賀茂温泉の青野川 for the flower!
