They have got it all but most of it doesn’t function !
Pool table ✅ snooker balls❌chalk ❌ ball organizers❌ torn pool mats✅

Swimming pool ✅ but just knee deep

Coffee maker in room✅ coffee powder❌ suger❌

And they call a knee deep circular tiles bathtub as JACUZZI !! (Ps even after knowing what actual jacuzzi is)
Whats worse is that they charge that room having the bathtub much much higher stating it's equiped with jacuzzi.

The water bottles were not sealed either.

They are exploting coustomers in name of wildlife tourism and conservation.

Things may fail or go under repair. It takes time in these remote locations to get it sorted. Once pool table was under Mantainance, it takes 3-4 days to get it sorted, which is what happened during your stay. We never say Jacuzzi facility in any of our literature or talks with clients. It is simply tiled bathtubs in few superior rooms that we tell anyone. This is surely some miscommunication or misunderstanding that happened.

I was in the Kanha National park and stayed at Mogli Resort during 30/09/2017 to 02/10/2017. I have booked resort by their Jabalpur office, the deal which I got over priced in my opinion. This is just opening of Park as well as Resort, the service at resort is very poor. Food quality is very good and only thing we enjoyed during our stay. You should book your tickets own for core zones, as promised by resort they can't arrange any ticket. The buffer zones are only jungle, there are no wild animals in that zones. This is only wastage of money. Resort manager Mr Piyush is very co operative in nature, and helping visitors within his capacity.

Room Tip: Negotiate as possible, some very good Resort is avialable in Kanha area.

Thanks for your review. Start of season just after monsoon is slightly challenging and leaves few issues unsorted. Our team does its best to take care of all your needs. Safari is provided by and and hotel can`t do much about it. Buffer zones are nice jungle experience and wildlife is sighted there also. On a day, you may see only few animals in core if you aren`t lucky. Anyhow core is definitely better than buffer for sighting wildlife.

This is 165 kms from jabalpur. Most cars will charge approx 4500 inr for pick up/ drop to resort. Except the early and last part the road is bad / under construction. U will require atleast 4-5 hours to reach. Since u wd require a vehicle for drop and pickup from ur resort to gate and local roaming it wd be better to strike a deal with the driver and retain the vehicle for the stay. They too prefer it rather than going back empty.

Location: approx 2 kms from the kisli entry gate. Its not walkable especially late after evening safari and early morning bfore safari. I was told hotels charge 300 per pickup or drop to entry gate. We instead used the driver services who had dropped us from Jabalpur.
This resort wd be good if your safari zones are kanha zone or kisli zone or sarahi zone (buffer). Mukki gate is 55 kms from here and virtually undoable.

Resort: located in a big area on periphery of jungle. We stayed at ac cottage. Comfortable for 3 people. Bathrooms adequately clean. Toileteries provided.
Beds are comfortable. Though If u are doing both safaries in a day then there is not much time u spend in the rooms during day.

Lot of area in resort to stroll and chat.
A good sized artificial pond too in the resort.

Swimming pool: well maintained and good size. Great relaxation especially in summers.

Food: this is a area were there is a lot of scope for improvement. Food was preety basic stuff. However the taste was homely.
In 3 days stay the tastes and variety was very repetative. Most of the gravies tasted same. We had taken a all meals plan and kind of had no option.
They however packed breakfast for morning safari (@5 am) at no extra cost.

There were a few dhabas near the gate and on the road but from other peoples talk food is not great. Also difficult to reach those unless u are staying near road or gate.

Bar: this resort (and almost all midrange /budget) does not have a inhouse bar. They procure alcohol from wine shop at mocha village (5-6 kms away) on requests of guests. Better to carry ur stuff from jabalpur. The wine shop on mainroad at mocha village had been shifted 500mtrs inside following new regulations. U need to ask for location.

A atm is there near kisli gate.
Two atms in mocha village. Were functioning when we went there.

Resorts does not have card debit facility.

Staff: very polite and helping. Absolute no complaints here.

We appreciate your efforts in writing such elaborate review. The jeep for safaris are provided by the local jeep union. The charges for pick up and drop is fixed by them and we collect it on their behalf. Being in such remote place, the choice of food is limited. But we still try to provide varieties in taste. You can contact us directly in your future trips incase you have specific food choices and we shall try to meet you expectations. you can write to us in advance at resortmogli@yahoo.com

This was the first time i had been to kanha, Mogli was selected on the basis of location since it was closes to one of the main gate for excretion which was a good decision.
But if you are expecting luxury, good comfortable ambiance,Servise then i guess you might just be taking a wrong call, since this was at one time was a good and landmark resort which i don't feel is currently in it best position.

Rooms-Old types, Not good interiors,Old types was rooms with no modern amenities, especially you will miss landline in the rooms for basic service coordination, size of the rooms are unusually small and feels claustrophobic .
Location-Good close to the main gate.
Resort- Badly maintained, can be good/awesome cause they have a in-house lake but again maintenance is a big issue.
Food-To my surprise i luved the food.
Staff-Good and ensures your comfortable but they also have limitation since resort itself has very limited facility.
Price- Some how i felt its over priced compared to the deliverable.

I suggest if its a bachelor's trip( All guies) you can still manage but i would not suggest this for a family stay you might be just be uncomfortable.

Room Tip: There are couple of rooms which are good in "size" but right size cottages are a No no.

Thanks for your review. I regret the inconvenience faced by you. We have noted the suggestions in details. Intercom was not working due to technical issues with epabx exchange. We thank you for your appreciation of our food, location and staff. The interiors are being worked upon. We invite you next time to come and see the change.
