“Lovely cottage in a peacful location”
Reviewed 1 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Tump cottage is well appointed, having everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is ideally located in the peaceful village of Nympsfield for exploring Gloucestershire including the pretty villages of Tetbury, Bibury, and Minchinhampton, as well as Cirencester and Bath. There is lots to do and see for lovers of fresh air and beautiful views.

“Loved it!”

Tump is an absolutely charming barn conversion. It's clean, comfortable and contemporary with everything you could possibly need for a short break. The owners are equally charming and did all they could to make our stay memorable.

“Tump Cottage is a beautifully-appointed 'stable' conversion in a gorgeous, country setting.”

Our first impressions of Tump cottage were one of delight, and during our stay these feelings were only confirmed. The farm setting, complete with free-range hens, friendly dogs, scampering squirrels and doves (in a beautiful dove cote) and the character-filled, converted farm buildings were matched by the modern amenities and comfortable facilities. The spiral staircase up to the bedroom was fabulous for us, but could present access issues for some. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, even to retrieving a pearl earring that accidentally fell into a bathroom drain! We always loved 'coming home' to Tump after our long
days of sight-seeing in this beautiful, green corner of country England.

“Great little quirky cottage”

This is ideal accommodation for two people. A beautifully renovated middle cottage of three in a barn conversion. Very tastefully furnished with all you could want inside. The owners are very friendly and helpful and a plate of homemade scones and jam were awaiting our arrival along with tea, coffee, sugar and milk. We didn't even have to take any linen, washing up liquid or t towels. Best of all we had Wi-Fi!!!
The Cotswolds is a beautiful part of England which we had never explored before and this was an ideal place to stay. We spent 3 comfortable nights and saw so many extremely picturesque places. A great place to explore that part of England.

I would recommend Tump Cottage for 2 people and the one next door called Tinkley Cottage which would accommodate 4 people and even has a high hair. We were allowed to view this larger cottage and it is beautiful. Our dog was made very welcome and it was lovely to wake up and see the doves in the 15 Century dovecote and watch all the funny little chickens scampering about the yard.

The local Rosé and Crown pub serves excellent food.
