Excellent hotel in a beautiful location

Beautiful location for this family run and relaxed hotel. Staff are fantastic, food in the restuarant and breakfast was great. Rooms clean and great size, really couldn't fault any part of our stay at all.

Do a lot of touring around Donegal on the motorcycle so we will be back again here very soon in the new year on our next quick trip away to that area.

Well priced, food well priced (2 courses, a few drinks was about 50 euros) and the bar prices were well priced as well.

3 mins walk from the beach, a pizza shop and other restaurants are close by.

Highly recommend !!

Clean. Comfortable and friendly

Situated central in downings close to beach and caravan sites. The hotel has a good bar featuring large tv screen and shows sports .Rooms are clean and comfortable with friendly relaxed atmosphere throughout. Breakfast was excellent as expected and served from menu at table.

Very Decent Lunch

I called into this popular hotel for a light lunch while passing through recently. It was busy - and deservedly so - with lots of people and families about. For once, the weather was excellent. Ample car parking. No complaints at all.

Great find

This hotel is classed as 3*, I actually wouldn't put it as that...I'd say it's a 4 star. The staff were wonderful, very welcoming and warm. The bar staff were good craic. The location is brilliant and the Guinness is good. The rooms were very clean, warm and modern....I'm not saying it's a 5 star but it's an amazing hotel. Well done to all who run this place

Relaxing with friends

The Beach Hotel provided a warm welcome in a picturesque location. We spent a fun filled couple of nights in Downings eating well in Fisk, sampling the Guinness in the Harbour Bar, blowing the cobwebs away on a walk to the Singing Pub, buying presents in McNutts tweed shop & admiring the beach along the Boardwalk in Carrigart. The Beach Hotel gave us a friendly base with generous breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable bed & cosy fire to unwind beside. Fun weekend & a reminder of how spectacular Donegal is.
