We played the C-9. friendly staff, great course in good condition and lots of holes with fantastic view on the Atlantic Ocean. Amazing experience.
A jewel in Connemara!…Not to be passed!
Don’t miss this challenging links course in Connemara, situated in a stunning setting, well tended but the rugged coastline of the West is always breathtaking! We enjoyed an enviable day recently in one of the few sunny days, where I won the money, on the last green!! It was especially sweet taking a few quid off my re-located Dublin pal who is now immersed in the glory of Connemara!
Try the bar food too, everything is delicious!
Overpriced. Rather arrogant caddymaster. Nice greens & Tee boxes. Terribly slow flights in front. Obviously new money, no clue about golf. Bar & restaurant OK. … but nothing extraordinary.
So many nice courses in Ireland! Skip this one….
Played in August '23 on a cloudy but windless (mostly) day. I have played many of the well known Irish links and Connemara rates right up there! I will definitely be back.
showed up at 9.30 to an empty parking lot . { Kind of concerned that we picked the
wrong day and the course was closed } We played 8 holes before we saw anyone else . Got lucky avoiding the rain,, as it was all round us . This was a treat ,,, especially the back nine . The links experience that was I hoping for .
Even though it wasn't cheap it was half the green fee of the "NAME " courses.
Topped off the round with a Guiness and some of the best chowder in Ireland .
Would come back anytme for a replay .
Great course (weather less so!), friendly staff, super good and drinks in the restaurant and shout out to the team in the pro shop. My GF is a chowder expert and raves about this one.
