Great course (weather less so!), friendly staff, super good and drinks in the restaurant and shout out to the team in the pro shop. My GF is a chowder expert and raves about this one.
The most spectacular course I’ve ever played. Challenging for sure and a bit out of the way to get too, but worth every minute and lost ball!
Golf at the Connemara Links is a real challenge to the pros as well as the neophyte golfer. This “natural” links course has left its rugged, rocky outcroppings on the course in addition to exceedingly thick and high fescue and deep bunkers that you could drive a garbage truck into and bury without knowing of its existence. The wind is brutal here and plays tricks with your ball. This country course is a testament to the men who developed it. The course was originally designed by the renowned Irish course architect, Eddie Hackett and completed by Tom Craddock. Eighteen holes were expanded to twenty-seven in 2001
I was here in June and am a real beginner. It was also blowing gale! They could not have been more helpful and on one evening we played and were the only people on the course as the sun set and the wind blew. A long course in a wonderful setting
Superb course & lovely people. Great test for all levels of golfer. Very challenging back nine on the A/B course from the whites. Fabulous views of Co. Galway & the wild Atlantic.
We were going pony trekking nearby and popped in here for a snack beforehand. Beautiful 360 degree views from the bar/restaurant. Friendly staff and beautiful scones.
