We stayed in a nearby hotel for 5 days, and after a day of driving, or hiking, we chilled out at this beach about four times. We never saw more than a handful of people, even on warm, sunny afternoons. The beach is pristine. There is no garbage. The water is crystal clean. They have a clean washroom and ample parking.
We saw a large Moose and her calf grazing in the meadow by the beach

The beach offers one of the most spectacular views of the sun going down in the west. One can walk a way out into the ocean as the water is very shallow. While walking on the beach you will find some of the most beautiful stones, all polished by years of rolling in the tide. The multi coloured stones are a dream come true for anyone being an amateur geologist or simply anyone interested in what Mother Nature has done over the years to make these stones so beautiful. Simply amazing to wonder how many years it took to do. I know you will be putting some in your luggage.

I remember visiting this beach as a child and returning with my own children was no disappointment . The beach is gorgeous and we caught a lovely warm day in July! If you’re looking for a sandy beach check it out, the water is shallow you can walk out quite far. Lovely spot!

An amazing expanse of fine beach sand, interesting rock and beautiful grassy dunes. We walked it both morning and evening and enjoyed the gentle breeze with nothing but clean, fresh air. A beautiful spot not to be missed!

Been here a few times, the most recent just a few days ago.We noticed a lot of seaweed on the beach this time but Im sure the next really high water will take care of it.The beach is really wide when the tide is out.Part of the beach runs adjacent to Shallow Bay Parks Canada site
