We had a family dinner in Hayes and everything was delicious. Several unusual curries on the menu and hake Veracruz, a beautiful dish. I had a duck dish that was really delicious. Imaginative and tasty food using beautiful fresh local produce. We shared a smoked salmon platter to start and it was huge, and very luscious.
There is a lovely wine list as well, including decent, unusual wines but not outrageously expensive. And of course a great pint of Guinness.
The service and the welcome in general was really nice.
There was a good balance of Covid safely and high standards without ruining an atmosphere.
