Wasn't planned and just happened to come across Hayes Bar, welcomed by very friendly staff and given an amazing menu, so much choice and all looked delicious. Two of us there so we shared delicious chowder which came with homemade bread and main courses were Mussels & Homemade beer bread from the specials menu and Carbonara from the lunch menu. Plenty eating in both mains, mussels were cooked in a delicious white wine cream sauce and served in a pot with the bread on the side. Carbonara had beautiful fresh pasta and both mains were gorgeous. On this visit we had no room for dessert so will have to travel again :)
Small, tidy restaurant and so simply decorated but with a lovely atmosphere. Staff were excellent and really pleasant from start to finish. Can't wait to go back to do it all over again.

We've just spent a wonderful afternoon watching the sunset over Glandore harbour, the view is amazing, the food wonderful, the staff great, it's well worth the visit.

We called in for a drink in the early afternoon and were warmly welcomed. There was plenty of seating both inside and out, with several tables also along the wall opposite providing fine sea views across Glandore to nearby Union Hall. The food menu looked interesting and will be tried out on a future visit.

Stopped on Sunday midday, very friendly staff, great value for money, nice pint of cold Murphy's & a pot of mussels, great selection of freshly caught seafood.

Parking in the front, you can sit outside with a view of Glandore bay, restaurant was spotless, mini waterfall out the back, great selection of wines

Was passing through Glandore and decided to stop and have lunch. It was not a bad day ( by Irish standards) so sat outside the view is very nice. I ordered chowder and fish pie - the fish pie was by far the better of the two dishes, the chowder was ok but not a lot of fish but lots of vegetables, it was hot and I ate it but would be doubtful if I would order it again. The complaint I have is that both dishes had far too much pepper in them, a little is fine as you can season it yourself if you need to. As a previous reviewer stated the toilets need a lift!
