The monastery is impressive, and so it's its location and history. We visited it on a very windy evening and it was very uncomfortable, the wind nearly knocked me down. I didn't like that the guided tour was with a large group of visitors, you couldn't hear the guide, and she sounded like a parrot repeating a too boring for her story, she seemed to be in a hurry to be done. No English but visitors with no Spanish are handed out printed info.
If the visit finished when the monks have their prayers in the church, yo're invited to stay and hear their Gregorian chants.
The monk in the souvenir shop was very jolly and nice.

It is a very old and beautiful monastery, set in a marvellopus natural scenary. Great views from the top of the hill which overlooks the valley and the mountains around. The builfings are very well preserved. I am not religious but I very much enjoyed the visit to this monastery, which is not far (but not too close either - around 45-50 mins drive) to Pamplona.
