We ate a 3 course lunch and it was excellent value for £18. Started with pickled herring which was well complemented by beetroot and taramasalata, and a lovely pork terrine. Then the Jacobs ladder which turned out to be a gorgeous braised beef with chips and mushroom sauce, and a grilled sea bream. Although plates look small the dishes are complete and filling without extra sides. We loved the puddings too: creme brulee and a bean and chocolate mousse.
