Birthday celebration meal booked at short notice after a let down at another venue! The manager even managed to supply a cake! Well done you , this is a very busy pub with rooms so booking at weekends is essential and ask,for the dining room if you like dining in a more intimate atmosphere The pub also has a great range of cask ales

Never lets us down. This time a party of 8 of us. All thought that it was a faultless evening. Our own table in a large 'alcove'. Service - thanks Harriet(te?) - was perfect as ever. Food quality spot on and great value. A definite recommendation.
