First impressions very small but well made up with the very nice home cooked meals plus something you rarely get these days a good selection of vegetables.
Nice deserts.
Friendly staff lady & gentlemen very helpful.

Visited several times, This is a hidden gem of a cafe, proper home cooking, good quality no nonsense food, reasonable prices. The cheese & onion pie (when available) is always a favourite. Plenty of proper puddings on offer too, most served with custard (if you are really hungry)

We went for breakfast after reading good reviews. Good piping hot food, polite and quick service, and clean surroundings (lady cleans tables etc. within an inch of their lives! Great to see, instead of someone who pushes crumbs around the table with a cloth). For me, scrambled eggs could have done with another minute, but otherwise everything else was really nice. But, around fifteen quid for two of us was a bit steep we thought for two breakfasts and tea, so we'll save up before we give it another visit!
