This grand but little place has a great history-storyline and we love it, sure it’s expensive but it’s like all things isn’t it you get what you pay for. £500 for two too much, nahh save and go if you love your food and would like a really classy french experience in the countryside.
Till next year.

I was here for a night with my son. It was a lovely place in Oxford. We enjoyed our evening walking in the beautiful garden, follow by the delicious meal. The room is spacious and comfortable.

One evening for us is about right. We had a peaceful evening here. My son loves the breakfast very much.

We stayed here to mark a special anniversary. In many ways it was exactly as we had hoped. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the room was very comfortable, we enjoyed meandering along the paths through the gardens, and we had a table for dinner in the conservatory which was light and airy and much nicer than the more traditional dining room in the old part of the manor. After dinner, as it was a lovely evening, we went for a walk through the village and called in at the village pub for a nightcap. There was quite a large group of Manoir staff there, some of whom were loudly disparaging the guests which made us feel the smiles we had been served with earlier were fake.

First class all round - setting (lovely building, rooms and gardens), service (exemplary), food and wine (exquisite)
It is a while since we've eaten here having enjoyed many meals in the past, been to cooking schools, had weddings and wedding anniversaries here and it is still one of the best restaurantys in the UK.

Sumptuous but relaxing. Not stuffy at all. Food excellent. Can recommend their wonderful candlelit Carol Services in December. Can’t wait to return. Will be celebrating my birthday on my next visit...
