This hotel is in an absolutely stunning location. Given how isolated it is we were expecting the prices to be high but were pleasantly surprised this was not the case. The rooms were clean, comfortable and warm. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it, including the packed lunch the next day. Great comfy break on the West Highland Way.

We arrived here soaking wet from real Scottish weather and unfortunately weren't able to stay here for the night due to our own fault of not making a reservation. Make sure you go so before hand! One member of the staff recommended a man further down the road who sometimes took hikers in. He saved us and we could stay with him. We did have a good supper in the hotel and drinks afterwards in the bar. Dinner was very tasty, and they had a very nice Scottish pub. Would recommend!

On the West Highland Way we arrived here at 14.30 and received a warm welcome and were immediately shown to our room. We had an enjoyable dinner with nice wine and wholesome food. The staff were so friendly and hard-working. The hotel is a bit tired around the edges but was well managed and comfortable. We enjoyed a beautiful, hearty breakfast with lots of options.
Thank you for drying my wet boots overnight!!

The Inveroran hotel is in a stunning location and I would go back for that alone.

On the plus side the staff were lovely, the bar cosy, the lounge tranquil and relaxing (I whiles away some moments leafing through a 1946 visitors book).

On the downside room 9 in the annex is in desperate need of refurbishment. The beds have seen better days, there was no bedside light near one of the beds, an overwhelming smell of air-freshener was probably there to disguise a damp odour.
