We stumbled across this place while driving through the area so decided to come back later for a meal. So glad we did.. The pizzas were excellent. Best we had in Italy. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Would definitely recommend a visit . Not overly priced and lovely setting.

We had dinner in the cellar part outside. It was casual with excellent pizzas and service. We booked in advance on a Tuesday evening and within a half hour of arriving at 8 the place was full. Highly recommend it. Deserts a little expensive so watch what you order for it.

Amazing views and amazing food! Worth going! The staff is fantastic and at the end they toured us up to the tower (if you wish to see it you have to ask the personnel if they can escort you...of course if they have time to) and explained us the surrounding area. You have the possibility to choose between the a la carte menu or pizzeria. We ate in the restaurant which was in the upper level and we just loved every single plate. I loved most the pici with salsiccia ragout and truffle! We'll definitely come back soon! Thumbs up!

Family run business with a choice of a la carte restaurant upstairs in 13 century castle and a pizza place downstairs in the old wine cellars of the castle. Great atmosphere with authentic tuscan food, a must place to visit if you're in Florence.

We are staying just down the road from Torre Al Sasso. We stopped in for lunch, just me and my husband. We fell in love. First the setting and the rooms are so classic castle. Second the brothers are most welcoming and wonderful. And third, but not least, the food. We shared a cheese plate that was exceptional. Loved the variety and the flavors were excellent with or without the honey. I had a ravioli dish. Home made with a wonderful tomato sauce. My husband had home made pasta with a sausage sauce. Both were delicious. We loved the place so much we came back thy evening for pizza with the while house. All eight of us ordered different pizzas and all were delighted. Then...OMG...the desserts. The chocolate desserts. Don't miss them. Some reviews commented on service. Our service was great. We plan to go back for dinner in the Tower later this week.
