We chose this hotel in Fasano after exploring Alberobello (Amazing Zona Trulli) believing it was a perfect stay (look at the web photos, we got crazy and with a high expectation, but very frustrated at the end). When we arrived our suite was with the air conditioner not working, but the receptionist who went with us kept saying we need to wait it “start to work” although no sound come from the air conditioner. After 10 minutes, exausted and needed a shower and rest, i asked to change is the room, although he keept saying it was going to work out. We went to the Reception and waited for other Receptionist go to that suite to confirm what we already knew: the bloody air conditioner was not working. So we went to the other room without any apology for the inconvenience and thanks God it was ok, we finally got our shower, actually an old bath with the shower inside that was not working well: i burnt my hand several times on the metal that should not be hot like the water, showing it need maintenance (water could not maintain warm/hot, changed all the time to cold and extremely hot, so dangerous, also that glass wall with the bath...If i could give a suggestion: The hotel should change that bath to a shower urgently, i was VERY afraid of slipping into the bath towards that glass wall that could be...We chose this hotel in Fasano after exploring Alberobello (Amazing Zona Trulli) believing it was a perfect stay (look at the web photos, we got crazy and with a high expectation, but very frustrated at the end).

LAST terrible thing: The check out is 10:30, we were inside our room when someone knocked loudly our door in a very insisted way. I had no idea what could be when i opened it and it was two cleaning ladies asking if they could go inside to get the durty towels!!!! I couldn’t not believe, we have NEVER EVER experienced that before!!!! I said “5 minutes”. We were already packing to leave but IF my husband were if diarrhea at the toilet??? IF i didn’t open the door and IF we were in bed, should they opened the door ??? She was surprised when i opened the door, i guess she knocked stressed in order to go inside (believed it was empty) and when i said:” 5 minutes “ she was upset, with a bad face!
Well, we checked out and said what happened, asked if it was common in that hotel (we had never ever seen it throughout these almost 9 months travelling all Italy, and also in all hotels in the world), it is a big hotel, should had a proper organization, cleaning staff should KNOW what room was empty or for Gods sake WAIT the checkout hour (laundry) and NOT disturb a guest ONE HOUR BEFORE the checkout! AMATEURISM !
BUT surely it was a bad organization since we ALREADY PAID that one night at Expedia, booking pre paid) and they gave us a 80 Euros bill of that night at the check out plus 7 euros city tax...
The only thing good at the hotel i guess was the breakfast (Very good, loved the carrot cake) and the nice staff ,the simpatic Nicolau who made us laugh that morning (before the cleaning staff put everything on the floor afterwards)
