we stayed just one night, but the room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The shower was excellent. Any noise from the bar area stopped at 11pm. We enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast sat outside on a beautiful morning overlooking the gardens.

Enjoyed our afternoon at The Limes. Service was second to none, staff were friendly and professional. We were well attended to, the food was superb with our dietary requirements catered for. Well done to management and staff. Looking forward to returning.

Avoid this hotel to all costs. They were hosting an evening wedding without informing us. We had to endure noisy music until late midnight. Terrible awful stay! They also arbitrary changed the hour of breakfast to 9am and did not access to food for our children. The room is tiny and the sofa bed not suited for 2 children.

We do inform guests if there is a function happening during their stay. With the restrictions been in place the Wedding was for 30 so apologies they made enough noise to disturb you. Our bar is open for functions until Midnight.

Spent just one night, but the room was clean and comfortable, seemed refurbished recently with modern fixtures. The bed was comfy, and it has all the basics one would expect - no complaints here. Service was overall excellent and the staff were top notch.
Breakfast was good, only it took a while to actually get it served, it did seem busy though. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful. However you did have to help yourself to a few things and I was confused that a place like this would have a 2 slice toaster for breakfast serving 30+ persons? . People were queuing up at the toaster, not good in these times! This was the only blight on an otherwise good breakfast experience - having to wait at the toaster! A cheap one too, that rook forever. Hopefully this was a glitch and the hotel will get a proper one soon. Funny how an otherwise great stay could be marred by something as simple as this,

Let’s start with the positive! The team are really friendly and helpful, a real positive asset to the place. The rooms may be small but they are clean and the water is piping hot!
The food is absolutely ghastly, so much so I went to Greggs for 3 of the 4 nights stayed. Not one starter on the menu and the mains were bland, tasteless. How can you make a mess of a pizza.
I stayed here for two weeks wanting to give them a fair chance. The first week they forgot my breakfast twice even though they asked me when I booked in did I want the 7:00 am all week!!!
Two days the room wasn’t made up. Fawlty Towers without the humor
Such a shame as I was looking for somewhere to stay for the next 6 months,

Of course we was still in lockdown then with Covid-19 regulations still in place, so our menu was reduced because of that.
The feedback has been passed onto our Chef and Front of House team in regards to them forgetting about your breakfast.
