Well as we arrived it seemed to be a good start the rooms the apartment room was very spacious, the pools were clean and it was very warm got burnt on the first day so the umbrella really helped for the rest of the holiday, the restaurant was nice and food was well cooked, but there English was poor. But as for the negative's the majority of the people in the hotel didn't speak English and everyone was very rude at the start of the week as you do you hold the do open for the next person but no one said thank you, don't buy the wifi from the hotel it don't work in your room the only place you can get it is in reception so go down to restaurant and get the wifi for free. Pool bar wasn't very cheap. No lifeguard's on duty so you have to constantly worry about your children in the pool, there is no entertainment for the children and play group was pointless and not worth the price, there is not much to do near the hotel so you either have to walk to centre of sevti vlas for food or catch a bus to sunny beach, the beach was close but not really much of one as you walk on to the beach and your basically in the sea. For the best bars and food your best to go to sunny beach but the taxi home add up over the week from central it was 25lv and from arda we got made to pay 40lv and once 30lv but that's what you have to pay if you want entertainment as to far to walk from magic dreams, but for the country majority are very rude and speak very bad English apart from in sunny beach, so if you want to make friends and find a good conversation this is not the hotel for you and I recommend and one coming to Bulgaria book hotel in sunny beach even if it cost a little more because transport to the best place add up

Visited Magic Dreams with 3 children in June. A good place to be. Not the most modern and exclusive place to be, but it has all the facilities that you need for small children. Swimming pools, playground, restaurant, children's club and a short walk to the beach. The best part of was the close distance to maybe the best supermarket at sunny beach.

We booked 2 apartments for 6 people for the first week in September. One 2 bedroom apartment and a one bedroom apartment. As you would expect the 2 bedroom was more spacious and had also 2 bathrooms, a washing machine and a microwave included.
All staff were extremely helpful with any requests.
The 2 pools were very generous in size and very clean. Access to one of the pools was via a set of steps into the low end of the pool that was very helpful for my mobility impaired wife. Although we did find that it was more efficient to push her in when she was not looking!
We all enjoyed the restaurant and all dishes were of very high quality, I can fully recommend the steaks!
It was a short walk to the very clean beach and the kids in the party enjoyed looking for shells in the surf.
We enjoyed the whole experience so much that we extended our stay another day.
If I had one problem it was that I found the beds a bit firm, but that is me.
Will we be back............absolutely!

I booked this last minute and wasn't sure what I was getting or what it would be like. We are a family of 6 and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is well away from Sunny Beach but within a 40 minute walking distance or short bus journey so this is more suited for those who want a quieter holiday rather than clubs and a busy nightlife. St Vlas centre is about a 15 minute walk up the road and is a lovely place to go at night time. On arriving at the hotel I was a bit alarmed that it was on a main, busy road but the rooms are built around a swimming pool and you wouldn't know the road was there once you are inside. We were actually put into a room which did suffer from the noise of the road as it wasn't facing the pool but looked out onto an apartment block next door. We were going to ask to change but decided not to because the apartment was so nice and spacious (2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen with oven and hob and utensils and large fridge) so we decided that we actually liked being tucked away and loved the space in the room too much to risk being put somewhere smaller. The rooms were kept clean and we were provided with fresh towels and bedding during our stay.

The pool was fantastic. We kept looking at other apartments and accommodation and didn't see any of them with a nicer pool than ours. It wasn't heated and so was rather cold as we went at the end of August and had a few days of cool weather but when we first arrived it was boiling hot and the pool was just amazing. There were plenty of sun loungers and lots of them were free and people didn't tend to put their towels down to claim them which I liked. We ate in the restaurant twice and the food was also very nice. The beach is a short walk away but it was rather crowded and not very deep for a lot of sunbathers to gather on but it made a nice alternative to the pool. Sunny beach is actually a lovely beach but the "strip" is very much for young groups of people so that was not to my taste. There is a huge supermarket opposite Magic Dreams and we could buy anything from there to cook in the apartments also for a very reasonable price. The hotel was mainly full of Russians or Polish people which I really liked as I felt I was somewhere different. It was a family hotel and my whole family would like to go back to Magic Dreams next year so this is a good recommendation.
