Advised by good friends of the owners we went there for one night bringing some other friends. A deceiving one night stand...

When arriving, three different parking but none pointing to the 'Reception' (Lobby).
Bad luck for us we end up in parking 3 with 2 heavy suitcases. One employee is there but do not care to know if we need help... Tone is set...

We got our room (7) for 180 EUR (two guests including breakfast) and first impression is poor. 18 m2 at best... small. No cupboard and a very simple bathroom. No dark curtains when the room give on a path where people can walk... Good intimate encounter with our neighbours. I hope they liked what they saw when I came naked our of the shower... And do not count on the staff to help. There is no lift and it's all on you...

Checking the price displayed the room was at 104 EUR plus 2 x 14 for the bfast... Still not sure how we paid 180...But when checking out we understood that it's a matter of season etc.

Finally a very average breakfast experience. Everything is scarce, cheap and minimum.

What a waste... This place with the right approach can be 5*... Right now a 2+ sold as 3.

Lovely restaurant/ hotel near Aix.
We sat outside under the huge tree which shaded the whole terrace. Lovely food. We had the 2 course menu. There was a choice of ’dorade’ or ‘magret de canard’ for the main course. Both were delicious.
It was all very relaxing. We sat on the terrace for ages, then the ´Mistral’ forced us to move tables so we could warm up in the sun!

An old rustic French house with blue chatters that is now a charming hotel surrounded by nature only 5 Km from Aix en Provence. Our ground floor room came with its own court yard for privacy to sit out for a drink or a meal. Full of rustic old charm. Big outside siting/dining for breakfast/Dinners, and a very impressive modern glassed dining room that was added to the old main house. swimming pool in another level also surrounding with trees and shed. Very helpful service by the owner itself and her small crew.
