We first stayed in this lovely hotel 15 years ago whilst on a cycling holiday and returned a few days ago as we remembered it's as being lovely. It was as lovely as we remembered; wonderful views, huge room and bed, great bathroom , wonderful food and drinks.

Stayed 3 nights. Room (Murtre) large, clean and comfortable with lovely views. Great jacuzzi bath and toiletries.
Good pool - towels, robes and slippers provided.
Food was tasty and plentiful- good breakfast and excellent service.
Cantallops is quiet and great as a base to explore area but 3/4 nights is sufficient.

A family of 3, we spent two nights here at the start of a walking holiday. Rooms excellent, we were able to eat on the terrace restaurant each evening, and enjoyed the pool very much.
Staff very attentive and helpful - a very good start to the holiday.

Stayed two nights while hiking in the area. Had a junior suite w living area and two balconies. Every amenity we needed--including a mini frig, safe, toiletries, jacuzzi and shower. The pool was stunningly situated with views of the Catalan countryside. Bar service at the pool. Numerous areas outdoors to relax and to dine. We took dinner on the patio both nights. The grilled meat platter & roasted vegetables with Romesco were favorites. Breakfast was bountiful and good--although we wished there had been service prior to 8:30 am. Staff was extremely helpful. An oasis!!

Stayed here for two nights at the beginning of a walking holiday in the foothills of the Pyrenees. It is a traditional rural hotel in a beautiful setting- all rooms have a balcony overlooking a stunning view towards the mountains and the sea. Rooms are spacious and modern with very comfortable high quality bed and furniture. Wi fi and air on work well throughout the hotel. The grounds are extensive and well maintained. Parking facilities are good though they do detract from the views. The hotel is just a five minute walk front the village of Cantallops.
The hotel is traditionally built but with all modern facilities and comforts including space and amenities.
Staff are well trained but keep a low profile and are not intrusive. The food, though quite adequate in quantity, did not meet expectations. It was dull and work-a-day compared to other experiences in the area.
There is a good sized pool and lounging area around it but this was totally unusable- green algae over the pool. Temperatures were in the height 20s and low 30s and its mid June! This was very disappointing but, along with the food, might help explain why there were so few customers.
There is a huge and modern conferencing facility attached to the hotel. It looked pristine but was not in use in the time we were there.
