I was really impressed with this hotel. We arrived late and left early, using the hotel purely as a stopover before boarding the ferry home the following morning. It served that purpose perfectly and all four of us had a great night’s sleep. The quadruple room was more spacious than other family rooms we have stayed in at hotels of a similar price. The bathroom and shower were also more spacious. Everything was perfectly clean. The mattresses and pillows were very good quality. We had a large king bed and a wide single bed. The forth bed was a smaller fold out bed which would be most suitable for under12s but still had a good thick mattress. The staff on reception were very friendly and alert even very late at night! Free, gated parking. I cannot comment on the area due to the short time that we stayed other than that the restaurant just next door looked good and has great reviews. I would definitely try to stay at Ace hotels again for travelling through France.

Great hotel and complete with AC. Rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast was a self serve affair but was well stocked. The Poor Rouge is just a hop skip and a jump away. Great place for a meal, great cooking and great service. Plus the biggest hamburger I have ever seen.

Strange that I had a difficult time finding this hotel on Trip Advisor to write my review.
We stayed here for one night after touring Normandy in a rental car. Although we didn't need it, we were given the handicap room. It was very spacious and immaculately clean. The bed was new and comfortable as were the pillows. The room was very quiet and we slept well.
Since we don't speak much French, we appreciated the sign by the reception desk that listed the languages the hotel staff spoke. Their English was excellent and the staff was so friendly. There was plenty of parking and we ate dinner at a restaurant that we walked to, La Bouchere, which was convenient and delicious.
Breakfast was extra; very good and included ham, eggs, fresh fruit and croissants. We highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in the suburb of Caen and I consider it to be ideally located to explore Normandy. Actually, it is a kind of simple and clan business hotel near the road with free parking and couple of restaurants nearby. It is not to be considered like a French style boutique hotel as someone could assume. Though, it is good, clean, convenient hotel to sleep and take shower before you leave for the whole day to do sightseeing.
Room was clean, bed was more or less ok though not so comfortable. Shower and bathroom fine and clean. Special thanks for the designer who decided to put infrared heated above the wash basin so you feel really warm and cozy in the morning.
Breakfast was 6.9 EUR/person and it was ok for this price with some pastries, eggs, apples, ham and cheese. Choice of juices was apple and orange, coffee was not so bad.
Wifi and parking are free of charge.
The only minor point I can mention is that one day elevator did not work and we had to use stairs for/to the 4th floor (back with our luggage) but I suppose it was a kind of force-majeur.
In general, the value for money is good and I can recommend this hotel.

Very modern with spacious, well soundproofed, air-conditioned rooms, spotlessly clean. Staff solicitous and friendly. Plenty of parking, gate locked overnight. At just under 7euros for an all you can eat, good quality breakfast, it was very reasonably priced. Well situated for accessing Caen.
