Located on the road along the front between the jetty and the commercial port an innovation has made this warung into the best place for dinner in town!
Seating across the road by the water gives a fresh breeze (albeit with a view of a sunken boat or two) and light! Full selection of fish / prawn / squid along with the best satay and the place is buzzing - if anywhere in PB can buzz. Ate here every night almost because although it’s always more or less the same it’s always spot on.
Still on the cheap side, no tax, no frills. You still get the fiery sambal, fruit afterwards etc that are dying off elsewhere. Might be gone soon so make the most of it.
Sublime fish, friendly service, a bit of old school Bali. Everything I had was perfect and it’s one of the reasons I keep coming back. Enjoy!

This is a very authentic Balinese seafood restuarant with the freshest seafood. You get to choose your choice of seafood and they cook it on the coals in front of you. Everything is served with a stunning cucumber and tomato salad in a delicious dressing with a coconut and chilli sauce as well as garlic and lemon sauces. Rice is always included as well as a little fruit salad desert.
Pricing is so cheap you cannot believe for such fresh seafood. Rp250,000.00 for four people when we ate there.
The owner is a delightful lady and her husband cooks the food while her two daughters serve you.
Dont be put off by the restuarant itself, you will seldom sit inside unless its raining. Seating is on the beachfront with a wonderful view of the harbour and ferries with a cooling breeze.

Ibu Jero is the lady of the warung . If you are very hungry then go in the early evening , cos she will fill up fast and because it's grill it can take a while . How it works : Ibu Jero has a wide range of fish you can choose from , sometimes she will have squid and prawns , market offer and every day fresh. They have a spectacular marinade and the fish comes with white rice .salade and she even offers you a fruit salade which I'm never able to finish cos the food is sooo yummy and filling , you will be rolling home and just want to my down and relax . An absolute must try if you want the real traditional seafood !!!

We were told about this place by the owner of our lodgings, where it is a family run restaurant located on the front of the bay. Tables are located across the road from the actual restaurant and it is possibly the best fish/seafood place I visited in 3.5 weeks travel through Indonesia. You choose which catch you want to eat and it gets flame-grilled, the price depending on the weight of your meal. For vegetarians there are standard options such as gado-gado or mie goreng, but the best taste is reserved for the fish eaters. Came to 100,000 for squid/4 shrimps, a gado-gado and two large bintangs.
