Really 'four to five' stars, this is a restaurant partitioned with an impressive glass wall from the smaller and very popular bar area. The manager is very helpful and attentive, the menu wisely reasonably short and all is of good quality, nicely served. Tables are well set, and in winter a fire lit. Wine is of decent quality and fair price. Around EUR25 per head with a modest amount of alcoholic drink, so decent value. Some dishes, e.g. the warm salad and rabo de toro have been much liked. As in most village restaurants, vegetarian/vegan options are rather limited (probably best to advise when booking) but there are options.
Easy to park on the road outside. Perfectly easy to find as it is on the main road into the village and not far from the centre of town. A shaded bar area in front of the restaurant for decent weather. Unusually in this area, closed Wednesdays.
