When you sit on the large flowery terrace with an incredible view on the mountains and have a great dinner - all fresh, pure and homemade, like you hope Italian food will be - you just never wanna leave. In our case that nearly happened, because our car broke down the day we arrived. :) Owners Herta and her sister could not have been more helpfull and kind, and helped us in all possible ways - far beyond what you might expect.

Every morning at breakfast there were freshly baked beautiful, home made cakes and pies - and sometimes an irrisistable foccacia, ouh la la. Don't resist La viande de René (for dinner) either.

Dont forget to visit Gran Paradiso (national parc) and Valferret if you like hiking! Postcard landscapes with tons of mountain flowers all the way,

the director and staff couldn't be any more friendly and accommodating. the rooms are great and very comfy, the food is to die for and everything is pretty much home-made. we spend the weekend there for a wedding and didn't manage to wake up in the morning before breakfast would close... the staff was nice enough to save us some breakfast food on the bar (they open at lunch too hence the need the restaurant to be vacate by 10) it was a wonderufl experience and would highly recommend it, can't wait to go back with my family! traveling from there is very easy and Frenis castle + Aosta valley are magnificent.
Grazzie mille!!

We found this hotel somewhat by luck, but loved it. The welcome from the proprietors was wonderful. The home-made food in the restaurant was outstanding, and very reasonably priced. The restaurant also has a wonderful panaromic view... Wonderful to have breakfast with that view. We travelled with two young children, and the hotel were very welcoming and made us feel very at home. It's in a beautiful setting high in the hills above la salle. We used it as a base for skiing in la thuile and courmayeur. A little gem

We chose to spend here a couple nights for a weekend in the mountains. The place is beautifully located at 5 min drive from La Salle ,with a magnificent view on the valley; it's pretty close to Courmayeur (15-20 min by car)and the thermes of Pré-StDidier (10 min drive). Lovely rooms, great restaurant, fantastic breakfast (homemade cheeses, biscuits, local products, and last but not least perfectly cooked eggs:). A great base for trekking or skiing in the local valleys.Staff nice and helpful with suggestions about where to go or trek.I'd love to stay here again.

Room tip: majestic view of the valley from the front rooms
