I have stayed at The Carlton before and it was excellent but this stay I was in a ground floor room that needed a good clean.
I did not sleep well, mentioned it at reception but their passion for a clean room was not as high as mine and I was told ‘a note would be made on the file’.
A clean room would have been a better reply.More

Been on the road since 4am and done a day in the office. Currently trying to check in - room still isn't ready even tho its after the check in time and I've been waiting a while. Asked 3 times how long it will be and only getting a vague answer. No apology offered, much less a courtesy drink while I wait. Next trip I'll be finding somewhere else to stay for sure.

the rooms are clean, comfortable and generously sized. Very convenient location for a flight the next day.
Dinner was mediocre and service was extremely slow. Breakfast buffet was OK, but service, like for coffee and tea, was slow.

Great hotel to start your holiday before you get on the plane . Beautiful bar/restaurant. Fabulous room and great atmosphere. Free shuttle service to bring you to and from the airport. Onsite parking while we were away (with a fee) but worth it knowing your car is safe ....

The hotel is clean.
Most of the staff were not interested. I had to go looking for a someone to refill my morning coffee. I waved a few times but I felt the waiter kept looking away. For the price they charge I should have been given a pot, at least.

We stayed here because of location close to Dublin airport. Great hotel, excellent breakfast and fast airport shuttle! Great amenities, shower was great. Clean room, lobby and restaurant. Helpful professional staff. Will stay again!
