We were attending Somerford Hall for a wedding. The Venue is set in a stunning location. The food was excellent, the bar is very small but plenty of staff so you don't wait long to be served and as long as you're drinking draught beer the price is ok but if you like the stronger stuff your wallet/purse will take a battering. Cannot fault the service though as everyone was very helpful and friendly.
By biggest gripe is the room. At £90 a night it is very bog standard and we expected so much more. The room is small and the decor is dull. Most homes now have power showers and to stay here and have a normal shower is disappointing. They state they have flat screen TVs but what they don't tell you is that they are the size of a postage stamp. If you could imagine staying in a small caravan with just a bedroom and a toilet/wash room that is probably the best way to describe how this room feels. Overall our experience was good but massively let down by the room which should be at least half the priceMore
