“A perfect cottage in a great location”
Reviewed 1 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Upon arrival at Hollin How, Joanne and Paul were very welcoming. We stay in the Lakes every year, usually in Bowness and normally end up travelling a lot to go for walks/runs in the mountains. The cottage is perfectly situated with so many great routes available from the door. The cottage was very nice, clean and modern, perfect for the 2 of us.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this cottage and will definitely be returning for another stay.

“Cosy modern barn conversion”
Reviewed 18 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Our second visit to Hollin How after a 6 year gap. Everything was as we remembered, well equipped and of good quality. Ideally placed for visiting the many local attractions and tackling some of the excellent walks that can be done from the doorstep. The ‘Royal’ pub is a very short stroll away and offers great ‘pub grub’ (see separate review). Overall, we would not hesitate to return to Hollin How in the future. Just one small point to clarify, the amenities list on Trip Advisor for this holiday let states that there is a dishwasher – there isn’t. Not much of an issue if you eat out every day as we did, but it really should be corrected.

“Relaxing break away from it all...”
Reviewed 1 July 2016 for a stay in November 2015

A superb barn conversion remotely located in near panoramic Ullswater. Just what we needed for a good relax! Owners very pleasant. The place has under-floor heating and other nice touches like visible beams etc! Great place to come back to after a day out! Recommend heading into Keswick for some fish and chips - the old keswickian in the centre.

We'll be back!
