We were looking for b&b dog- friendly. We got b&b dog- and human- friendly! A delightful farmhouse with comfortable room, huge bathroom. Breakfast was very good, with quality ingredients usef throughout. The family are very welcoming and, dogs accepted as part of the family. Recommended unreservedly.

A very late arrival on the Friday night still saw us warmly welcomed.

We stayed in the Garden Room, fabulous, enormous, huge comfy bed and luxurious bathroom with all the accessories needed including tea and coffee, biscuits, toiletries, hairdryer, smart TV.

Awoke to the smell of fresh bread baking and a beautiful view across the garden.

Generous breakfast made to order, lovely coffee!

We were travelling with our dog, and he was treated to a fantastic agility area at the bottom of the garden, with special mention and thanks to the lovely Marcus for allowing us to join in!

The farmhouse is very convenient for Salisbury, New Forest, motorway networks and nearby attractions while offering a quiet hideaway.

We were made to feel very welcome and at home without any intrusion. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in this area.

Room tip: The Garden room has lovely views over the garden and is very spacious and comfortable.

It was my first time in a B&B and I was a little concerned it was going to feel like we were staying or intruding in someone's house. It did feel a little bit like that but Ramona was very welcoming and friendly and our room was divine. It was huge, neat and tidy and clean. The double bed were two singles pushed together and the other downside was a shared bathroom down the hall. Don't get me wrong, the bathroom was AMAZING! The best shower and bath I had ever seen but it felt weird that you couldn't just jump in the bath with a glass of wine because it was shared and you never knew who would be waiting. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked. I would definitely recommend staying but wasn't a fan of sharing a bathroom. Find out more on The Blonde B

Whiteparish is on the New Forest border and this B&B is perfectly placed for a visit to this beautiful area. With a relaxed atmosphere in a peaceful setting, this Georgian farmhouse couldn't be better. We stayed in the Garden room which is huge with a sizeable en suite and countryside views. The other two rooms share a separate bathroom. As well as the usual tea/coffee facilities, we even had a fresh water dispenser - what a great idea!
Guests can also use the lounge, conservatory and garden. If you like animals you'll love it here as they have 2 dogs and a cat, and you can even bring your own!
Ramona, the hostess, is lovely and extremely helpful. Breakfast is made to order each day with local produce.
The place was a little hard to find, as it is situated off the A36 just outside the village, but a quick call to Ramona put us right.
For a good value evening meal, try The Hatchet Inn at Sherfield English about 10 mins along the A27 towards Romsey.
