We werent sure where to eat in Orient Bay since almost everything is closed but heard about la plantation, we didnt know what to expect, it was empty. The menu is not big but it has all you need. We ordered some accras to share for a starter followed by a ribeye. It was all delicious, surpassed our expectations, the meat was of very high quality, the blue cheese sauce was delicious and the home made fries (fried in fresh oil)!!!! Delicious!!!! Even the rice!!! We had it accompanied with a glass of rose and a glass of bordeaux. Would definitely come back and definitely recommend. Lovely ambiance, outdoor place, with a nice breeze and view.

We were actually staying at the hotel and ate only two meals here. We had dinner and drinks the first night we got in. The cocktails were not great, not very strong at all. The food was just ok (I had pasta with shrimp, of which there were only 5 small shrimp) and my husband got a burger. We had lunch there another day and we got the bruschetta which was not bad. If you are staying at the hotel, this would be a good option to get a convenient meal but I wouldn't make a point of coming here otherwise. The service during dinner was a bit slow and we were the only ones eating there at that time.

We enjoyed the tapas very much, particularly the shrimp and chicken. The Monday lobster night was also good.

we saw this place from the window of our room.. it was up on the hill overlooking the bay and marina. We drove up on one night only to find it closed.. we went back the next night and it was open.. We were surprised that there were only two other people in the restaurant, and it didn't change while we ate. The owner and waiter was great.. very authentic and friendly.. We had a wonderful view of the marina and bay.. a nice breeze, and great food. I had the lamb, my wife had the conch stew.. we had the bananas flambe for desert.. it was authentic and good and worth the pricing. Definitely worth going back to.
