I was very satisfied with my stay in the hotel at the beginning of December 2019. Rooms are very clean and big, nice furniture on balcony , even a lounger. Breakfast modest with breads and fruit but sufficient. Nice grounds and 5 minute walk to the Orient Beach. The hotel reservation includes a lounger at the beach, which is a plus, since it costs $20 a day. Small kitchenette with a pot and pan, and plentiful selection of plates and glassware, even champagne glasses included. Overall very nice stay, take euro not dollars you will get better exchange in many places. The only thing bothersome was that the water was not drinkable and not even allowed for cooking and the hotel gives only a bottle or two upon arrival. If the water is not drinkable, even after boiling, the hotel should provide the water daily, or have it for sale at the hotel lobby: it is pretty heavy to carry it from the store. Nice staff, especially the girl at breakfast.

Sadly, we could not get to the Palm Court Hotel for a planned 4 night stay of two rooms because of unrest at the border and blockades. We had to make the decision to stay on the Dutch side hoping that because we could not get there, the Palm Court would allow us to cancel on the day of arriving on St. Martin from a 7 day cruise. Ann at the front desk was very gracious and cancelled our reservations made through a third party and made sure they had the information needed to waive any penalties. After talking to other visitors staying at other properties, this was very generous and we felt above and beyond. We assumed we would lose at least the first night’s stay. We will make the Palm Court our next time place to be when visiting.

We have been visiting Orient Beach for many years and have stayed at a number of different hotels, some of which no longer exist. We decided to try Palm Court, and could not have been happier. Our totally refurbished room was superb across the board; squeaky clean and with everything you need. Continental breakfast at the pool, excellent as well. Short easy walk to the "square" and Bikini Beach, where you have lounges and an umbrella waiting. Finally, the hotel's Director, Anne, could not have been friendlier, more professional, or accomodating. We have already made our reservations for next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Palm Court. I only stayed there 1 night as we decided to extend our vacation. It is small, charming, affordable clean room. Short walk to the beach, Orient Point, which is just gorgeous. The only downside it isn't directly on the beach. But I believe you could stay on the beach without paying for a beach chair...The staff is friendly and helpful. They will bring up wine if needed. The room had a kitchenette with microwave. There is a small community within walking distance of restaurants, stores, grocery etc. I would def come back if looking for a good value.

In May we returned for the third time to Palm court and it was just as great as the first two times. It’s more a boutique hotel with large clean rooms small kitchenette. The beds are comfortable and a/c is perfect . The facilities have a pool, and outdoor eating area where you can have made to order eggs and continental breakfast. It is quiet and quaint and beautiful. The staff is wonderful and friendly. It’s in a gated community and truly very safe. A 1 minute walk leads you to restaurants and bars as well as a made to order pizza place. There is a large convinient store where you can buy fresh baguettes, cheese wine and most foods. There are bars along the beach as well and you can stroll each night looking for a new one. The beach is perfect. Palm court offers chairs and umbrellas at beach towels in the best part of the beach attached to a wonderful restaurant that serves good food and great wine. A 2minute drive will take you to a large grocery store and several restaurants and a gym. I have nothing but amazing things to say about one of my favourite places in St. Maarten. A car is a must and you can see everything you need in a week. Talk to the Hotel staff and they will tell you little hidden gems throughout the island. I would not bring smaller children s they may get bored but we leave the kids at home and enjoy 10 days of bliss. It’s well worth it. We will definaltey go back and stay at Palm Court every chance we get.

Room tip: All rooms are great and face the pool. You can’t go wrong.
