This was a great experience. Felt like we were in Paris. Great food, fun atmosphere, reasonable prices, excellent overall experience. This is in the village at Orient Bay, very accessible from the hotels in that area. Rivals the great restaurants in Grand Case.

Be sure to make reservations for Thursday night mussels. Made with different sauces. Very delicious.

We ate at Côte Plage the first night of our first visit to St. Martin and it somehow became our tradition to eat here every first night on our annual trip to Saint Martin. We used to spend a week in Jamaica every year but once we discovered St. Martin there was no looking back. And Côte Plage is almost a metaphor for that. Saint Martin, and for us Orient Bay, is about ambiance. Côte Plage is at one end of the village square looking out over the activity at all of the other restaurants huddled around the square. If you know Paris I find it much like Rue Buci with all of the restaurants spilling out into the street except there is more sand. Throw in well behaved children playing tag, beach chic diners and the odd well fed calico cat wandering around and you get the picture. And the food is great. But of course it is because the French take cuisine and service seriously. You would be hard pressed to get a substandard meal at any of the restaurants in Orient Bay or nearby Grand Case. So often it is the ambiance and service that make the difference and make for a memorable evening. This time around it was escargot in a Camembert cheese sauce to start and a sesame encrusted tuna tataki entree. The food was well prepared and presented. The service was attentive without feeling intrusive. And typical of real French restaurants we never felt rushed. And yet the bill was at our table moments after signaling our waiter. Côte Plage always makes for a nice, care-free evening in Saint Martin.

We have returned here many times and it has been consistently wonderful. Escargot was fabulous and not overpowered with garlic. Wonderful shrimp pasta dish.

This restaurant is located in The oriental village in the Orient Bay resorts area.
This is open till late so we could dine once and another time we had only one cocktail.
The dinner was nice, but not the best we had in the island.
The cocktails as well were pretty good, and we had preferred the drinks after dinner than the dinner here.
Really nice ambient in festive season with Christmas balls falling from the ceiling.
