I just spent 12 days at La Plantation and everything was perfect: location, size and comfort of the bed, big bathrooms, friendly and efficient staff, BIG rooms...
Tv and PERFECT wifi are back since Christmas and it works perfectly!
2 “bad” things:
_ breakfast is good but nothing special. Quality and diversity could be improved but any basic you are expecting is there: fruits, ham, eggs, yogourts, juices, croissants...
_ a LOT of mosquitoes in my first room then none in the 2nd one. All the beds have a net tho.

Very nice stay there. Will be back for sure

We had a beautiful room on the upper level with breakfast included. The restaurant and service was perfect and we highly recommend staying here in Orient Bay. The room comes with a small kitchenette fully stocked with a microwave and refrigerator.

Room tip: The upper level suites are outstanding with a large balcony and perfect view of the water.

Happy that they are back in business after Irma. We stayed over Christmas and New Year and truly enjoyed our stay. Our newly furbished room was excellent and service was first rate – especially at the front desk. Our only real complaint was the internet service, which left a lot to be desired until the last day or so, when it improved. The location is ideal. It’s only a ten minute walk to the beach and to “downtown” Orient Bay.
If you wish to do your own cooking, the kitchen is woefully under-equipped, but if you ask you are able to get some extra stuff. The Café Plantation, which we were told was separately managed is separately reviewed.

We have been going to Orient Beach for the past 20 years, staying at La Playa (previously L'hoste). Since it wasn't opened, we booked this year at La Plantation. It as a longer walk up the hill but we didn't mind the exercise and had a beautiful view from our room. The breakfast was great. Lovely pool, but a bit chilly. We had access to beach chairs, ate in the Square most nights and shopped at Casino. We had one lunch at the restaurant and it was very good. Room was large . We made it over to Pinel Island one day which has been totally rebuilt and we enjoyed out lobster. We will most likely return to La Plantation. Friendly staff , clean and safe!

We are long time visitors to Orient Bay, this was our first trip back since Irma. While there are still a few damaged buildings in the area, most have been or are being repaired. La Plantation has done a great job getting the facilities ready. Although there was no internet or TV in the room, everything else was very nice. The walk to the beach and to the village took about 10-15 minutes depending on whether we going for drinks or returning from drinks. Beach was beautiful, seaweed minimal. Pretty much all the restaurants in the village are open, the Petit Casino grocery store was open and fully stocked. Yellow Sub has upgraded their menu and was a very pleasant surprise. It turned out to be our go to lunch place, We visited from November 7-17, 2018 and were happy that we did.
