“Loved every minute of it!”

We booked a 2 night stay with my family ages ranging from 70-3 years old. We had four cottages. Carla, Adam and their family were fantastic hosts. All the cottages were very clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved the stream the dog, chickens and ducks. We took up the suggestion to place a tesco delivery order which catered for our whole stay.. We had a bbq in the brick build bbq area one evening with local burgers from the nearby town which was superb. Gorgeous place, fantastic scenery. Some of us went to the out door pursuit area ten minutes up the road and participated in gorge walking which we loved. Definitely recommend it all went too fast. Will be back again!

“Superb accommodation and very warm welcome”
Reviewed 12 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Carla and Adam equipped the house with everything what is necessary from cups and plates to warm, cosy blankets. Adam's home baked cake was absolutely delicious. Great place to chill-out and escape from busy life. Perfect for those who love nature and long walks. Superb place highly recommended.

“Wonderful place, relaxing, friendly and a warm welcome.”

Booked here for a three night break. Needed time to relax and get away from everyday life. We took our two year old son and he enjoyed every moment of it. Playing with the friendly dog, seeing the pigs and having the freedom to play. The cottage was beautiful, spotless and some lovely touches. My favourite being the home baked Bara brith made by Adam. If you want to get away from it all then this is the place to stay. We had an amazing time and will be booking another short break. Plenty to do and a lovely town near by. From Alan, Rowena and Lloyd.

“A little piece of heaven”
Reviewed 31 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

This is our tenth visit to this location. Our first visit with the new owners, Adam and Carla who made our visit as lovely as ever. Love the changes they have made in the short time that they have been there. We all wish them every success in their new venture. We have already booked our return visit for 2015 for the three cottages that we use. This is such an ideal place for friends and family that want to holiday together and a great safe place for children. Loved Guinness the dog, the chickens and we cannot forget Milly and Molly the pigs. This is such an idyllic place to get away from the rat race and there is plenty to do in the surrounding areas so if you want to just relax there is no place better, but if you want to get out and about there is loads to do.

“Just perfect”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We spent 3 nights with our twin girls (22-month old). Ty Uchaf cottage was big enough to put 2 cots in the second bedroom. Everything was very clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Upon arrival we even found a delicious Welsh cake baked for us, a very kind attention.

Carla and her family were great hosts, giving us a lot of advice on the things to do around Llanidloes. With children you can easily walk all around the cottage and up the hill, play with the chickens and feed the pigs.

The cottage is located just 2 miles south of Llanidloes, and gives you easy access to Aberystwyth on one side and Welshpool / Powys Castle / Coed-y-Dinas on the other.

We'll be back !
