The room is great. The aroma in in the room and bathroom is extremely pleasant. Good breakfast, nice people, excellent parking facilities and outstanding beach. Walking distance to Porto Cesareo city center.

This lovely hotel is situated on the first line - you need just to leave the room, walk a few meters - and you are on the own hotel's beach! I was there on vacation in Mid September and at this time more that a half of sunbeds and umbrellas were free, so if you don't like noise and crowds of tourists - September is suitable period for your holidays. The beach with itself with fine sand is clear and pleasant, and the sea is shallow - so this variant could be suitable for the spending the holidays with little children.

Rooms are rather spacious - about 25-30 square meters and a balcony. Personnel of the hotel is very friendly, special thanks to Sylvia - she helped me a lot!

Porto Cesareo and Salento Peninsula in a whole is very attractive region (in my opinion). Infrastructure - hotels, restauraunts, pharmacies (if needed) etc. is ready for receiving the guests, but due to relatively not agressive advertising of the region as a touristic place in Salento you will not meet crowds of the people like in Toscana and Emilia-Romagna beaches or even like in the central part of Puglia. Owerwhelming majority of the people I've met where Italians themselves, having come to Salento for the holidays, not foreigners (but I suppose this will change in several years ans Puglia becomes very popular among the tourists from other countries as well).

The main issue there is public transport: if you want to travel on Salento peninsula (and it's worth doing since this part of Italy is very beautiful as well) you definitely need a car. Or you can reach out some local English-speaking guide with a car and travel with him/her.

In a nutshell, I enjoyed this my Puglian vacation a lot, so wish the same to you :)

Room Tip: 1st floor (not ground) is good

I've been here 3 days: first day I booked 1 umbrella with 2 sun beds for 40eur. Second and third day same at 30eur. If you decide to have lunch there and sit at the tables you are charged of 4.5Eur per person for the service: so if you eat 3 salads with a bottle of water and couple of coffees you are going to spend more than 40Eur. I think it's a bit overpriced. Sea is beautiful though, but on the beach no children corner with games and umbrellas are really too close to each other. No vital space!

Excellent staff, good location, you only have to cross the street to go to the beach. Town centre is about 2km from the hotel, a not unpleasant walk, and good exercise...
The beach is quite nice and the water is great.
The bar on the beach which belongs to the hotel is not very great, expensive and rather poor quality. They don't even do not pasta.
The hotel itself is in a poor state. It is really not a four star, at best a reasonable three star. Investments are poorly needed. And I believe we had one of their best rooms.

PRO

Excellent location, ok beach facility.

Room size was ok except the bathroom

CON

Bathroom was jokingly tiny (we stayed in a family room (main room+an addirional room for our kid). The shower was so small so I could bot breathe eith the shower curtain closed!

The facility was old & dirty. There was an awful smell of humidity in the room.

They wanted to charge 20€ per day for beach entrance! Fortunately thy've waiced it afterwards.

Very expensive given the service you get.
