I stayed here with my partner at the start of our trip to Japan. We were put off by the small room at first, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff didn't speak much English, but did try to help. This hotel was better than I expected after reading reviews online, however, we didn't try the breakfast because it didn't look appealing and we wanted to experience different foods throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again though. The location was convenient and it was comfortable.

Reading some of the reviews on here i was expecting a lot worse than it actually was, it was fine and perfect for our 10 day stay in Tokyo. The rooms are small but not THAT small, we had more than enough room for two people. They are also very clean and cleaners came into the room daily. I wouldn't say it was luxury but we went to Tokyo to see Tokyo and not to sit in a hotel, for us it was just somewhere to rest. The beds were a little hard yes but this didn't impact my sleep or comfort at all. It is also 2 minutes walk from shin-okachimachi station and just 15 minutes walk from okachimachi and ueno station, so perfect base for exploring all of Tokyo. Some staff do not really understand English which lead to some slightly awkward encounters when we wanted some help but this was easily overcome with a translating app on my phone! Overall i would definitely recommend this hotel!

Stayed here late June situated in a perfect location with easy access to all of Tokyo. The market is 10 minutes walk and Akihabara is 15. Close to subway and monorail my family enjoyed the stay here. The staff were very helpful and friendly and some speak good English.

Pros:
-Rooms are very clean.
-Comfortable bathroom and clean bathtub.
-There are several convenience stores nearby.
-The staff is very polite and helpful with good english skills as compared to other places we stayed.

Cons:
-Beds are rock hard and smallish for a double bed.
-Breakfast is subpar. Bland and underwhelming.
-Not enough tables for all guests at breakfast.
-Not as centric as it sounds (15-20min on foot to Akihabara district)

Room Tip: Our room was on the 5th floor facing away from the street and we had a great view of the district and of Tokyo Skytree in the distance.

Room is clean and a reasonable size for Tokyo. Don't expect western size room. wifi and all facilities in room good.
Breakfast arrangements are a disaster however. Everyone has to sit high on a stool, including small children, people with luggage need to move all the way through the breakfast room to check out. access to the toasters and coffee means people are constantly squeezing past others... The hotel really needs to re-think how they arrange the space.. They have spare space on the ground floor atrium space which is right next to current breakfast space too.. This is a large hotel chain - they can do better
